Day 3

Yesterday was a tough day. Sajel had fevers all morning and none of us got much sleep. We headed for the airport around 8:30 and poor Marcus had the pleasure off lugging all of our luggage around J . Sajel’s first plane ride was fairly smooth. She sleeps well with a lot of noise and motion! Back in Delhi, we had to pick up the luggage and re-check it (again, poor Marcus), then back through security. By now it was around noon, and Sajel still was spiking fevers and refusing food. I was able to get her to eat some apple after awhile. She would chew the pieces up, suck the juice, and then hand me the pulp J ! I was starting to get very concerned, because she wasn’t using the bathroom again. She slept through the entire second plane ride (and so did we!). We arrived in Goa around 5pm, caught a taxi, and headed towards the condo. On the ride there, Sajel started vomiting and was very miserable. When we arrived, I had the pleasure of changing a diaper that was full of stool and urine and had leaked all over her clothes (meanwhile, I was still wearing her vomit on my shirt J).  After we got to our room, Marcus went and asked them to send a doctor- we are waiting on him to come now. Sajel has since urinated a few times and is drinking plenty, but the only food she had last night was a banana (which I had to force feed her). I am a little worried because of the frequent temperatures. She is cutting a few teeth, but I think she has a GI bug (better safe than sorry). After torturing her with the banana, I gave her another bath…oh she was NOT happy! She cried, I cried, and then we were ok J. We all slept well last night and Sajel is having a nap now.
